Hi and welcome to SR. Sorry I don't have any experience with what you are seeking information from but I did want to acknowledge your post and suggest if you have any pain management clinics in your area that perhaps you write all your concerns down and ask them to help you figure out the best way to approach managing your pain in a way that won't make you act strange, won't damage your liver and will allow you to lead a productive life. Sorry but that's the best suggestion I have, perhaps others may have better ones to share but I truly wish you the best!
