I'm sorry to see you struggling so. Drinking counters the effects of your medication. Alcohol is a depressant. So, taking an anti-depressant while drinking is just about worthless. They counter each other. Do you have a drinking problem? I ask because only you can answer that question. At any rate, I hope you can stop drinking and allow your medication to take hold so you can deal effectively with your depression.
