I haven't had that, but actually had a portion of my vagus nerve severed almost three years ago now to slow acid production. The opening out of my stomach into the small intestine had almost completely scarred shut, and that had to be surgically repaired.
I have not suffered from gastric reflux since the surgery. It had gotten so bad prior to surgery that I couldn't keep much of anything down, and my stomach wasn't emptying either, but due to the physical scarring of the pylorus.
