I've been going to counseling on a regular basis since December of last year when I hit a period of depression that was so severe I was having suicidal thoughts.

I think it's great you have a goal of going back to school again!

I went to tech school many years ago, landed a good job as a programmer/analyst, and then got pink-slipped after 17 months as they laid off half the company.

I went through Manpower, had a professional headhunter, and sadly the only openings in my area were for senior programmers, which I was not yet.

Lots of hard years after that, working what jobs that I could and now I am finally in college full-time to complete my degree.
