[Jersey Nonny]

Every Wednesday, we have Jackpot Bingo...everyone (staff and residents) buy bingo tickets for $1/each. There are two prizes, and 1/3 goes into the Residence Council for our activities. I volunteered to help sell the tickets...so, I've been scooting around all morning. This is a "tuff crowd".

I did pretty well...probably sold a bit more than 1/3 of the total. I didn't win, but two of the people who bought from me did. It really felt as good as if I had won myself. One of them was a nurse I just am crazy about...she was the first to take care of me when I came here. I wasn't happy with the way the furniture was laid out in my room; and, instead of waiting for Housekeeping to come over and rearrange it, she said, "Oh, the hell with it...and, moved everything around herself."

When she won today, she came looking for me, and actually forced me to take half of her winnings. I nearly broke down and cried!
