Thanks for the concern, but I consider burning bridges to be the equivalent of walking out on the job, which fortunately I haven't done yet. I'm really close. I fully intend to work out my two weeks, though.
I quit my last two jobs before this one without having anything lined up. No major disasters ensued...besides, I like a little uncertainty...breaks up the monotony of my life. No matter the situation at hand, I've always been able to figure out things enough to get by. If I can't find employment right away, oh well...
Something will eventually come around. I do believe it.
When anything becomes completely unbearable, I get out as soon as I can to save my mental stability, safety net or no safety net. My current job is
severely threatening to sabotage my sobriety, so it
has to go. Now I'll have the time to settle down and think before rushing into another job eyes completely shut. Keep your fingers crossed for me, people!
