Fri. & Sat. nights I go to an AA meeting, afterwards I spend time with my children and girlfriend, we enjoy our time together. I'm still amazed that I'm not drinking at that time of the day, even after a few years of sobriety.
There's so much available to do with people in recovery. Going out for dinner, to movies, out for coffee, camping, campfire meetings, etc. etc.
Honestly, I haven't been bored in years, in fact there are times when I wish I could just relax and be bored for a few hours!
