sorry about your day. The market IS tough and too many people out of work.
Just remember...this has nothing to do with you as a person..it's totally a business issue. I know it doesn't make you feel any better, but beating yourself up isn't going to help. I know, when I've been recently looking for work, I'm very down on myself and that is going to come across to any potential employers.
Even if you're not feeling confident...fake it! So many people have lost work lately, it isn't the stigma it used to be.
