I'm so thrilled! I posted awhile back about wanting a sponsor, but not really being comfortable with any women in AA and really not knowing who to ask. And i was really reluctent to approach anyone for fear of rejection.

There was a womens meeting tonight right afterI got off work. I reallly wanted to just go home but I knew i needed a meeting. so i went. After the meeting one of the women approached me and ask if I had a sponsor... she said she knew i'd been coming awhile and really appeared to want what the program had to offer. So she gave me her number and told me to call and she would put me in contact with some of the young women in the program and help me get a sponsor.

This is definitely a god thing... i didn't think i'd ever get a sponsor cause I was too scared to ask...but i'm going to call tomorrow and hopefully she'll be able to put me in touch with someone!
