I've been clean 13+ years...

On day 41 after the withdrawls settled away, I was 6'4" 165 pounds and 8% body fat.

Flash foward now 13+ years later... As an amature Body Builder, I'm 6'4" 255 pounds and 12% body fat... With my birthday coming up on August 21st I'm going to make another fitness push... Going to get down to 8% BF again, and I've got about 5 pounds of Muscle that I've let atrophy... Just to make a statement to myself.

Then try to add another 5 pounds of Muscle by May... All realistic goals, as long as I don't falter on it.

The bodybuilding and fitness lifestyle is great for recovery, beyond just the obvious health reasons...

I've always said that the biggest gains that come from the BB-ing lifestyle are mental... It's just the physical ones that are easy to see.

The kind of stucture you get from it is also very mentally condusive to recovery.
