Yeah, I'd prop myself up on one elbow, try to recall the events of the night before, cotton in my mouth. Sometimes still dressed, a drink by my side. In the end, wouldn't even try alka seltzer or aspirin, just went straight for my "cure" - a nice, cold beer. Breakfast of Champions. Serious drinking would come later, but that'd get me back on my feet. Thanks for the memories, Restless.
