Switch what you're doing. Like, drink tea instead of coffee. Brush your teeth right after dinner, instead of lighting up. Take a short walk when you get a craving. These are great short term modifications.
Join a gym or take a class for long term behavior modification. Something that involves lung action is great. I did the gym and chorus when I quit. Each one depended on my quit, cuz, if I slipped, my lungs would let me know about it right away!
I'm picking up my chantix today. I quit for over two years, and had a slip in December. Now, I'm going for the gold again. I will not give up on myself. So, let's be quit buddies!
