Rarly Harley;
Good for you! You sound like you have a GREAT program of recovery and you understand that we are not only addicts and/or alcoholics, we are human beings too and human beings are vulnerable to any number of psyciatric problems as well as physical problems that may require medication to help us live normal lives. We cannot suffer in vain just because of our past mistakes. We just have to find good, understanding, compassionate doctors who are willing to help us, be strict with us to make sure we don't relapse but keep us floating so that we feel good. When we feel healthy, that is the only way we can have a good program of sobriety! Thanks for this post, it was very meaningful!
Take care, Love;
Jaz
