For those of us who still love sugar ...
Warm lemon cake
1 package yellow cake mix
2 cups cold milk
1 1/4 cups water
2 (4 oz size each) packages lemon flavor instant
pudding
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons confectioner's sugar
Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Prepare cake as directed on package.
Pour into greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
Pour milk and water into large bowl.
Add dry pudding mixes and granulated sugar.
Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes until well blended.
Pour over batter.
Place baking dish on baking sheet to catch any sauce
that may bubble over from pan.
Bake 55 -60 minutes or until toothpick in center comes
out clean.
Cool 20 minutes (sauce will thicken slightly as it
cools).
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Spoon into serving dishes.
Serve warm.
