I don't like Mother's Day. Nope. Sorry...not a fan of the flowers and brunch with the family. Maybe it's because we are all FORCED to say thank you to our mommi's. I watched Bobbi Brown take his ever loving wife Whitney Housten to a deluxxxe hotel with ALL the KIDZ! YIKES! THAT'S why she should have left him...for THAT reason alone! What Mother wants to keep everybody happy on ANY day?! Just looks like more work. I use to hate seving tables for Mother's Day. It was a day you HAD to work when ya first got hired at the big dinner places...Marriott was my home fer many a days....and I HATED MOTHER'S DAY! I couldn't tell ya how many high octane cocktails I sent out accross the floor to someone that needed to take the edge off...all the while sitting accross from his mom's in law and kidz. Just a sucky day.
I'd like fer my thankless huzband to take all the kidz to McDonalds fer a couple of hours while I sit around the house on my fat azz....watching the Bad Girls Club...without interruption or guilt. I would probably get a call somewhere into about 15 minutes of MY TIME and have to run down to the emergency room...I'm sure...either THAT or have to fill out a missing persons report at the local police station.....
But one can dream...can't she?
