Well, actually the DSM does include caffeine caused mental illnesses. I think the DSM includes four of them. But what I am asking about regards the symptoms of caffeinism, or caffeine intoxication, or caffeine allergy (and maybe other caffeine related disorders), that mimic the symptoms of other mental illnesses which cause doctors to diagnose patients with these other mental illnesses while simultaneously and completely missing the caffeine connection – even that all the symptoms may be solely caused by caffeine use or abuse.
That’s why I’m looking to see if anyone here that has been diagnosed with a mental illness, or suspects that they have a mental illness (such as an anxiety disorder), also drinks caffeine.
