Being a sponsor I have found is a 2 way street in my experience and I have said that to my sponsee, of course my sponsor told me the same thing, there were many times as he was taking me through the steps that he would mention that what we were doing was gaining him more ESH and that I was helping him just as much, maybe more then he was helping me, this I have found to be true and have shared the same with my sponsee.

Last week my sponsee and I finished up his 12th step...... we sat and looked at each other, I thanked him for all that he had brought to me, we stood and he gave me a HUGE hug!!! He told me thank you for being there, I told him what my sponsor told me.... Pass it on, he looked at me and said "I know, I know." and smiled!

What more could I ask for, I am always amazed that no matter how much I give it away I always feel as if I am getting more in return.
