My buddy grew up living on top of a family run bar and still does. We have been friends since the 10th grade in high school (we are both 28 yrs old now) which of course consisted of alot of nights of him getting drunk to the point of not remembering what ever happens the previous night. He has gotten in trouble with the law and well lets just say that he has a serious problem that i'd like to help him with.
He lives in Pine Bush, NY and was wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction about getting him checked in. If i can get a location of a center maybe i can call a counselor at the center and have a meeting arranged because i know he won't pursue this himself. He realizes he has a problem but of course the old story is that he says he will get help but never does.
He is a elemantary school teach and if this doesn't get taken care of soon i'm sure his job will be jepordized along with possibly hurting himself or somebody else.
