Thanks for posting this. I've been big on meditation since I was a teen, and have found that the easiest way to meditate is to simply close your eyes and let go. The harder you try, the more difficult it gets. I think that meditation has been subject to increasingly complicated conceptualization, with entire books being dedicated to explain what I believe is an innate gift for all human beings. Going back to meditating twice a day was high up on my list of reasons to quit drinking.
