Hey Done -

I go through a local clinic that bases its rates on a 'sliding scale'.

I live in what is still a sparsely populates state, and somehow, that helps as far as state funded programs for mental health and for health care in general. The sliding scale only applies to the doctors and for some SOME medications however - any tests or hospital is full price.

they know no one around here has the $$$ for their prices.

so while the doc can tel me what's wrong -
there's often nothing that can be done about it.
