Isn't it wonderful to be able to feel joy about something, and be sober too? The snow you describe sounds beautfiul. Out in California of course, if we want to see snow, we have to drive to it. My daughter is seven, and I'm determined to get her up on skis this year. Prior to this she was so tiny there weren't any small enough for her. She had a problem with sleep apnea, and it was affecting her growth. She had the apnea because her tonsils were huge and were affecting her breathing at night, but they had to wait until she was 30 pounds before they would attempt the surger. She didn't hit 30 pounds until after she had turned six.
Since the surgery she has gained almost 20 pounds, and has grown several inches as well. She eats so much better, and her school work went from being below grade level to two grades above. She is in second grade, but in many areas can do the work of fourth grade. You can imagine how good all that makes me feel.
If you ever figure out to to scan a pic, definitely show us one of your cabin in the woods, and your baby (dog), LOL.
