Question How Do I Recover?

Many people come here every day wanting the *Magic Key* on
"How do I recover".

There is no simple way, no words, that any of us can give you except to "Don't pick up".

There are many ways you can do it. The internet has give us a plethora of ways to seek out a way to recover. AA, NA is not our only
option anymore, BUT it is a good one.

To put it mildly we have NO reason to Not Recover. Some call it a disease, some say it it's a choice, I say it does not matter.

What matters is we have choices. We do not need to go to "Passages" in Malibu to detox, you can help yourself, you can find your own way. I did it, she did, he did it. Recovery is possible.

This is not a thread to argue about, not a thread to say whose
choice of Recovery is better and whose is not. You may not like
one way of recovery but your friend Bob does and it saved his
life, so please respect it, because without it, you would not have
him or many others as friends.

We ARE all in this together, I think that we forget that sometimes
in trying to prove ourselves right.

If you have any links you want to add please add them.
