When I was diagnosed with ADHD ...
I was just so happy there was an EXPLANATION to the long heard and seldom explained:
"You have a magnificent mind - you just don't USE it" ...
Which I heard ALLLL through school and never ever understood what the hell the 'teacher' meant ... I didn't care about anything for a while.
Turns out- I had a 'disorder' that hadn't been 'discovered' yet !

I'm so GLAD to hear others understand about that not 'getting all the conversation ... heehee. Ever find you've agreed to do something , then have to take a few hours to discreetly find out what you've agreed to?
"They catch you 'going blank' and then get you to agree to volunteer to do something...
