My goal is to get them free of me as soon as possible. To get them sponsoring others. I am primarily a step sponsor, although that doesn't mean that I am not available if some one has questions about amends, prayer, etc.
My experiences are similiar to Rob's. Some I become good friends with, others I see in passing, and some I haven't seen in years.
