I can think of at least a couple of serious conditions that exhibit the symptoms you've described. I'd make an appointment with the doctor straight-away.

Speaking of eyes, I have lots of small "floaters." An AA old-timer told me that it was caused by my alcoholism. He said I should go have it checked out by a doctor and for me to tell the eye doc about the drinking, but I haven't done it yet. From what I've read, they can't/won't do anything about it unless the floaters are big and dark. Anybody else have these? Man, I seem to be hung-up on eyes and eye health today...
