Starting with smilies.
In the quick reply message window (right under this window) you will see this image
Click on the little arrow to open up the drop down menu. All you need to do is click on the smilie of your choice and it will add it to your post. To see more smilies click "Show all smilies" at the bottom of that drop down window. It will open up the window where all the smilies are. Just click on one and it will add it to your post. You are allowed 3 images per post.
On the advanced reply window you will see all the smilies in a box under the reply window. Just click on one and it will add it to your post. Click on Smilies [More] to open the full page of smilies. Just click on one from there to add it to your post.
