Your dad would understand, I'm sure. You have to do whatever you feel comfortable with. If you really want to do it so you don't break your dads tradition then do it, you won't be ruining your sobriety. No one would judge you because of it. It's how you feel. If you don't want to do it because you really would prefer no alcohol in it, then don't put any in. I'm sure your dad would understand if he was here and even though he's not, I'm sure he will know anyway and be proud of you.
It's how YOU feel Chy, you have to do what you are comfortable with and what works best for you.
