With a little over 1 month of sobriety I chaperoned a group of elementary school kids on a trip to the Grand Canyon. Let's just say it's a little stressful when 60 kids run for the edge at once!

I'm looking forward to the day when I can hike with my children into the Canyon. I did it twice as a child, the second time I had pints of Jack Daniels in my backpack. My disease was just starting to kick in.
