Very thorough article Teach...good in deed. thanks!

Just like to add a note that ECT is no longer like what is depicted in the movies. It is painless and safe when done by a qualified doc. I have been to lectures by one of the few docs who is qualified in my state and because of him i know ECT will always remain an open option to me. The risks are minimal, but mostly associated with very short-term memory loss...when there are side-affect issues at all. If i ever drop back down into a major depressive episode i will not hesitate to go to this doc for ECT.

It's not scary at all compared to living a single month in that Hell of such horrid depression.

hugs,
Jenna
