Today I got the news that my cancer (advanced breast) is in remission. That's good but what I'm REALLY relived about is, during the past five months of chemo and surgery and all the other garbage that goes with it, I haven't had any recurrance of my bi-polar symptoms (huge depression crashes and compulsive behavior). And I haven't drank so I am still keeping my ten years of sobriety. My shrink and p-meds doc are delighted, and so am I.

I'll go back to work in two weeks, I've been on short term disability since the surgery last Feb. It will feel good returing to life again...

Life is SO much better now that my meds are okay!
