Our merciful God...

Hey gang,
Haven't reported here in quite some time. I had to take a moment to examine my life and where I was headed and unfortunately it was direct opposition to God's desire, not His will though thankfully.

At the end of June I lost my job, and my car, my new girlfriend, and the remains of my self-esteem, confidence, and determination. I'm not sure why it happened but I'm quite convinced of how it happened, but God has allowed me to stand once again - and I think it only fit, as a testament to His Glory and Eternal Wisdom.

Last week, I was denied unemployment - I have a mortgage and have been blessed with enough in the bank account to weather the storm. I had a very cheap bike that I bought at target quite awhile ago for under 100 bucks and had to ride to get anywhere. Finally, the few days before my denial of unemployment, the chain on my bike broke. I had a new respect for fitness gurus. I had to ride to the gym, pump iron, and then ride back - I was so tired, it took everything I had to function the rest of the day.

So, thankfully some friends and family finally stepped in, and after a few very promising interviews with an amazing company (and rides from them) I ventured out on faith and spent the remainder of my savings on a vehicle (a used MDX to which I so blessed to have.)

Today, I recieved the phone call that this company wants me despite my admission of being fired - I will be making less, but the loss is from the base and have commission potential in embarassing excess of my last position. This has all be the work of God...because this job has been my dream job for years and finally I got it. Because this is getting windy, I'll save how I got it for another time - suffice it to say it was all God and not me.

Praise God!
