There's thing you can do to help the body and mind along.
It like a life style change thou.
Alcoholics never eat right, sleep, excersize right..mmm excersize to beging with.
It's do able if you just do it. We do have constency, just have to apply it to
other healthy habits in stead of drinking.
Most alcoholics go into a depression when trying to stop or in early stages
of recovery. i lost alot when i hit bottom. i stopped doing those healty things
as i got heavily into my drinking carreer.
I started doing those activities again. Bascailly got my body into shape again.
It didn't happened overnite and i took baby steps. i just started walking miles
everyday, then started jogging, then run, then lift wieghts.
Eating was more of a struggle for me. i had to work on that a lot harder.
while these activites didn't eliminate all of my problem nor eliminated my
depression. i notice i was making improvments then those that didn't.
I didn't jump into it with both feet and it was a bit rough to get rolling
becuase 30 days seems like a life time when you first get sober.
I bascially just applied the principles of the 90 in 90 becuase i couldn't
imagine doing them when i was in a rut. After i got into a routine of
doing these activities, i didn't think too much it, becuase my mind and
body was getting clearer as i was doing it. After I finish the 90 days,
i just make another commitment of another 90 days. My recovery
is base on that. Just strings of 90 meetings in 90 days for years and years.lol
