| Just saying hi - 87 days clean NA thought..
Hey folks, just saying hi. Been out of comission a few days so was only do a few quick replies.
87 days clean today. While life has been throwing me all sorts of challenges these past couple of weeks, in those weeks I can honestly say I have not thought about picking up.
I'm attending my 2nd SMART meeting tonight, and I'm really looking forward to it.
Don't know what else to say, lurkers, sign up and join in, everyone not lurking but still using just stop any way you can, and if you are not using, well..keep it up! All my hope goes out to all of the above, however.
I threw out my NA 30 and 60 day keychains today. Giving it some thought, if I do not believe in some principals of NA(keyword principal, not goal), I should not reap thier rewards. I'm not knocking NA, but everyone who increases thier clean time by one day should be commended. I don't care if your 2 days clean or 20 years and 2 days clean, congrats and keep moving forward.
I'm grateful to God for providing me with the strength, wisdom and power to quit and not pick up. And of course, I'm grateful for this (and other boards) for allowing me to post my thoughts. Thank you all. - Chris
