First of all, I am sure you know that your medications will not help you if you are drinking/drugging.
And, as aggravating as it is, many of us (almost all of us?!) have to go through the trial and error of finding the right mix of medications as everyone's chemistry is unique and we react to the same medications differently. It is entirely frustrating, I know.
It is also true that many of the psychotropics may take as long as 8 weeks to really stabilize in our system and start to help.
However if you have a bad reaction to any medication, report that immediately.
