Wow. Here is where Bill W. is such a visionary. Even the Dalai Lama talks about teaching other people and lives a somewhat monastic life. But for people to be out in the world, and turn the light on themselves like he does in this passage, how often does that happen. Not very much at all I don't think, at least not that I've seen. I could identify with a whole lot of this, on a more recent basis than I ever would have expected, except for the regret.
