BWMD....I truly understand the fear...I can only share my experience and that is that I did gain. Because I grew to trust my sponsor at that time...I have found her words to be very true...I have been around for a few 24 hours now and everything she said was true...When it was time...the weight came off. I had to do my part by participating in my own recovery..God did the rest...
I have also found that the words at the end of How It Works, "Practice these principles in all my affairs..." will work on all aspects of my life...Applying the steps and the principles do work... I am the happiest I have ever been ion my entire life.
Allow yourself to be where you are, just for now, work the steps, eat right, the rest will follow. It is a promise that has ben proven time and time again.
