Hi shotgun

Mnay of us that abused our bodies had lost weight. Now in recovery, with a new design for living, we learn to nourish our bodies and also.becasue of the sugar in the alcohl we are now craving sugar.it is ok.eat the chocolate, hard candy, . My sponsor told me the first several months "Let it be ok" The very last place for alcohl to leave the body is from the spinal column and that takews a year.So to minimize the cravings for alcohol many of us were told, EAT sugar. When it is time the weight wil come of.right now the important thing is recovery from alcohol.
Many of us are also hypoglycemic as a result of the alcohol. Fresh fruits with natural sugar will help with that.
With that Ii think I wil go have my liunch and a piece of chocolate. just kiding.I do more fruits now to get away from the refined sugar.
The first year.geting sober, learning how to live sober is enough on one's plate becasue you wil be doing a ghreat deal of changing.
Just be you. Let God take care of the rest
