All my life i've experienced a poor body image, even when I was acceptable. I realize that this was embedded in me from my childhood. How does one shake something that has been inscribed in them for 25+ years? I beleive it takes time and by all means the exercise you suggested are signifigant to growth of better feelings. Thank you for sharing that important info that I am sure we all suffer with. Occasionally, I make myself do things that put my physical self image out there. The more i do it the more comfortable I feel. Example is ~I go to college and I took and aquatic class regardless that I am 40 pounds overweight..I am an awesome swimmer..why should I let my bad self image keep me from doing things i love and havibng new experiences. Thank you for sharing, I am grateful.
In love & light,
*Kelly
