Her doctor still has her on Klonopin and if it is not enough then perhaps he will increase it. I am not a doctor so I am not going to say increase what your doctor has prescribed for you and if I was I wouldn't anyway because I could get into a lot of trouble.
I think it is a fact that you can stop taking one drug and taper with another. It is now a question of how much Klonopin. Perhaps her doctor is being a bit severe, but she'll have to work that out with her doctor or seek medical advice elsewhere.
