JC - I agree with golfer above - dropping 4 mg klonopin all at once could be very dangerous - you should seek medical advice and supervision.
If you want to get off these drugs once and for all then you should seek medical advice regarding a taper. Read the Ashton Manual and refer to the schedule for tapering off klonopin by way of valium substitution - if nothing else this gives you a starting point for discussions with your doc.
These drugs are very potent and form an incredibly strong physical dependence in anyone taking them. Then there is the psychological aspect..
No way can you just decide to give them up - like opiates............... benzos require a gradual down dosing and if you are to have a decent chance of success then you have to have a structured plan of withdrawal...... and you must commit to this.....
