This is a funny story about my son, when he was four years old.

My son and I were standing at the end of a pier, when I noticed a mother

duck with her ducklings approaching close to shore. I then told my son,

"Craig! Look at the mama duck with her baby ducks!"

Craig looked at me confused, "That is not a mama duck!"

I said, "Craig, yes that is a mama duck. See how close her babies follow?"

Craig replied proudly, "That is not a mama duck! That is a daddy duck!"

I said, "Why do you think it is not a mama duck?"

Craig said, "Well, she doesn't have lipstick on.."


I cherish this time with my son forever!!!
