When I got here 2 years ago, I kept thinking -- when will I be through with this program? When will I be a good person? It occurred to me sometime ago that I will die an alcoholic, just hopefully not drinking! It also occurred to me that I am not a bad person trying to get good, but a sick person trying to get well!
