Oh yes, I know about how that feels but it's just as scary to think what would happen if I WERE in control too!!!
I love the movie "Bruce Almighty" with Jim Carey, because although it's a comedy the theme is true- let God be God and people be people. As a codependent I tried to act the part of god... trying to fix and 'do for' someone... work their program for them etc. It just makes things worse for all involved. In the film, the main character is self-centered and carries resentments to people and God that he must let go.
