The once a year ritual of being able to take our food into the living room so we could watch the Wizard of OZ as we sat in a circle in front of the TV.
Fitting 12 of us into the kitchen for a sit down meal...as a family each night.
Bunk beds and peddle bikes with big fat tires. Playing in the rain and catching snowflakes on our tongue.
Rake up a huge pile of leaves and then jump in the pile. Clear the whole yard of snow by rolling a ball to make a snowman.
Making angels in the snow. Sledding down a hill. flying kites, catching minnows in the creek. Boat rides with my older brother.
