hi, my husband works construction and it is very hard on his body - muscle and joints hurt badly. he is 15 days sober and always used the alcohol to numb these physical discomforts. is there anything he can do to make it better without alcohol?

i hesitate to have him start taking pain killers because i don't want him taking pills and maybe that would lead to worse things plus i know they are not good on the liver.

any suggestions? thank you!!!
