Troubled Girl, it sounds like you might be in a family situation that is bad for you. If this is true, you can find a way out. If you visit this board you can see that people can overcome a lot of obstacles and move ahead to a better life. If you are living at home with parents who are causing you pain in your life, do you have another family member who you could stay with for awhile - a grandparent or an aunt? Or if there a counsellor at your school who could give you some advice? The truth is that whether or not you can change your situation, you can change yourself. In fact, that is all you can change.
