I don't have to be
What everone else
Seems to be
Because I am not them
I am me.
Today I see that
The things that I like
Make me happy
And I don't have to change.
I do what I must
I do what I ought
And I try
To be who I am.
Be true to myself
Is all there is.
The rest is
Someone else's life.
Suddenly I know
Who I am
And who I must be.
Just me.
