(((((OOAO!)))))) What a rough day! We've all had 'em, the only thing to do is get back on the horse again asap. Think about restarting the patch, maybe at a lower dose. If you were on 21 mg, try 14 mg. On my first two recent quit attempts I came off the patch quickly as I seemed to be doing okay. First big stressor that came along, I was smoking again. This most recent quit I used the patch for the suggested time and I'm still smoke-free. Some days I really miss my smokes, especially when life is extra-stressful, but it passes. Try drinking lots of water - that can help with the yucky bloated feeling, and don't worry about the weight gain yet - you can deal with that later. Your health is far more damaged by the smokes than the weight, so just try to cope with one thing at a time. Hang in there!
