Hi, Spring;
Sorry I missed this the other day. Hope you're still smoke free!

I've tried multiple times to quit. And I agree with your assessment; sometimes it's easy; others almost impossible. I *think* it's in our heads, meaning, how prepared or fed up we are.
This quit, I had my last butt at 6 AM and that was it. It was difficult, but, I was prepared. I had planned; I had a support group; and I had a group of new behaviors to put in place. And the fact is, I quit when I was out of work on a stress leave! So, my emotional state diddn't prevent my success.
I am now Nine months, two weeks, four days, 7 hours, 10 minutes and 42 seconds nicotine free. That's 11651 cigarettes not smoked, saving $3,203.83. Life saved: 5 weeks, 5 days, 10 hours, 55 minutes.
Keep the quit and post before you puff!
Shalom!
