I posted awhile back, freaking out over a job interview and whether i should tell them about my "crazy" side. Got lots of support and kind words here.
Thought I would let you know that I did get the job. It is can be confusing to explain- it is a state medicaid program for elderly and disabled persons and the state contracts with various providers to manage the benefit. the company i currently work for as a case manager lost the contract effective 10/01, and the new company has been awarded the contract for the next 5 years. this new company is the one i had interviewed for, basically doing the same thing i am doing now and which i really really love doing, so i am happy to have gotten the job. the extra $5000 a year doesn't hurt either
i am a bit nervous- just because changes tend to throw me off track for awhile, even good changes. i tend to become very depressed for awhile, and even knowing that doesn't make it easier. i am hoping that since i started seeing a counseler again recently she can help me kinda navigate through this. one good thing too is that one of my co-workers, who i am close to, knows all about the "crazy" me and has been a great support- has been hired as the manager and will now be my boss. i am really happy for her and know she will do an awesome job.
thanks again!
